Introduction to RAG
RAG (Retrieval Augmented Generation) is a feature that enhances the application's responses by using additional information from a knowledge base. This means that when you ask a question, the application can search for answers in stored documents or data to provide you with more accurate and relevant responses.
How to Use RAG
1. Activate RAG
In the advanced settings of the application, you'll see an option to enable RAG. Make sure this option is checked to benefit from enhanced responses.
2. Add Documents to the Knowledge Base
To get relevant responses, you first need to populate the knowledge base with your documents:
- Open the RAG panel from the main menu
- Enter or paste the document content in the provided field
- Add an optional title to better identify the document
- Click ‘Add to Knowledge Base’ to save the document
3. Ask Questions
When using the application, ask your questions as usual. For example, ‘What are the advantages of our service?’
The application will use RAG to search for relevant information in its database and provide you with a more complete and accurate answer.
4. View Enhanced Responses
The provided responses will include information from your documents. You'll be able to see references to the sources used to generate the response.
